The Crimea has a mild climate with abundance of sunshine and warmth, clean mountain forest and marine air saturated with phytoncides and healing salts, the warm Black Sea and Sea of Azov with velvety beaches, therapeutic mud and salt lake brine, numerous springs of mineral water of various composition, and various bright and unique landscapes.

Popular tourist attractions include ruins of Chersonesus on the territory of Sevastopol, Tzar`s Mound in Kerch, and the ancient settlement of Scythian Neapolis in Simferopol, medieval “cave towns” of Eski-Kermen, Mangup-Kale, and Chufut-Kale in the vicinities of Bakchisarai, Genoese fortresses in Sudak and Feodosia, Bakchisarai Palace with its famous Fountain of Tears, Alupka and Livadia palaces, The Swallow Nest, and many other places of interest. |
