Crimean waterfalls (mountain bike in Crimea, Ukraine)

The most powerful Crimean waterfall Djur-Djur never dries up even in the most arid years. Its mean expense is 270 liters per each second . Foamy spurts colored with sunshine stand out against a green background of rocks overgrown with moss . Walking up the stream about 1 km you can see beautiful series of picturesque cascades-rapids.

The highest Crimean waterfall is Uchan - Su that means Falling Water . It starts on the 390 m high above sea level . It ' s twice higher then Niagara waterfall . But frankly saying it ' s not that wide . In spring and late fall Uchan-Su has got the most impressing look, when numerous mass of foamy water with force brings down carrying limestone boulders along. A cloud of water dust hangs above the waterfall, which sounds in a kilometer. However in summer time there are only weak spurts run along gray rock surface.
